Frost Gear and Forge Company was an early automobile parts manufacturer founded in 1907 by Edward J. Frost.
Frost was on the school board from 1919 to 1937 and Frost Intermediate School was named in his honor. His company was purchased by Clark Equipment in 1928 and gears were forged on-site until 1937.
